To sync payroll automatically from Rippling, your Puzzle subscription needs the Rippling add-on. This article covers what it costs, how to add it, and what to do if your sync is paused.
What the add-on costs
Rippling charges $2 per employee or contractor per month for access to your payroll data. Puzzle passes that cost through as the Rippling add-on at the same price and doesn't keep any of it.
The add-on is always billed monthly, even if your Puzzle plan is annual, because your headcount can change from month to month.
How to add it
Monthly plans: Go to Settings → Billing, choose the Rippling add-on and check out.
Annual plans: The add-on doesn't appear under Settings → Billing on annual plans. Message us in chat and our team will set it up for you as a separate monthly charge. This can't be set up between the last day of a month and the 7th of the next month, so a request made during that week is completed from the 8th.
My Rippling connection says "Pending upgrade"
"Pending upgrade" means your Rippling connection is in place, but payroll won't sync until the add-on is on your subscription. Add it using the steps above. Once it's added, Puzzle starts a full sync of your payroll history automatically. You don't need to reconnect Rippling, and payroll that already synced stays in your books.
I paused the sync myself
Go to Integrations, open your Rippling account and click Unpause.
Where to see what you're paying
Your current add-on charge is shown under Settings → Billing, in the Add-ons section.
