This FAQ will cover the different partners that Puzzle integrates with, and how categorizations and attachments will be synced to your Puzzle account.
Q: What partners does Puzzle have a direct integration with?
A: Puzzle has direct integrations with a the partners listed below:
Banks: Mercury, Brex, Meow
Corporate Cards: Brex, Ramp
Payroll: Gusto, Deel (international contractors only currently and no EOR)
Bill Management: Bill.com, Ramp
Payment Processor: Stripe
FP&A Tools: Causal, Runway, Struppy, Meow

Q: How often does Puzzle sync?
A: Puzzle syncs with our partners once a day, the sync takes place overnight.
Q: Can I force a sync with a partner?
A: Ramp is the only partner that you can force a sync with. You can find the Ramp sync option on the Bill tab on the Accounting page.
Q: What information from Mercury will get synced to Puzzle?
A: Categorizations made to transactions in Mercury will sync to your Puzzle account.
Q: What information from Meow will get synced to Puzzle?
A: Transaction details will be synced to Puzzle, categorization suggestions will be made based on our database of categorization rules.
Q: What information from Brex will get synced to Puzzle?
A: Bank Accounts: Categorizations made to transactions in your Brex bank account
will sync to your Puzzle account.
Credit Cards: Categorizations made to transactions in your Brex credit card account
will sync to your Puzzle account. Receipts attached to transactions in your Brex account will also sync to Puzzle.
Q: What information from Ramp will get synced to Puzzle?
A: Credit Cards: Categorizations made to transactions in your Ramp credit card account
will sync to your Puzzle account. Receipts attached to transactions in your Ramp account will also sync to Puzzle.
Bill Pay: Bills added and categorized in Ramp will sync to Puzzle under the “Bills” tab on the Accounting page. Bills will also be marked as “Paid” in Puzzle as they are paid via Ramp.
Q: What information from Gusto will get synced to Puzzle?
A: Payroll information such as Name, Department, Role, and Salary will be synced to Puzzle and be available to view on the People page.
Q: What information from Deel will get synced to Puzzle?
A: International contractor information will sync to Puzzle including Name and Salary and be available to view on the People page. This will be treated like Payroll data. (Currently there are limitations on EOR Contractors due to Deel API restrictions.)
Q: What information from Bill.com will get synced to Puzzle?
A: Bills and Invoices input into Bill.com will be synced with Puzzle and available in the Bills and Invoices tabs on the Accounting page. The status of bills and invoices in Puzzle will also update as the status is changed in Bill.com.
Q: What information from Stripe will get synced to Puzzle?
A: Invoices: Invoices that are created in Stripe will automatically sync with Puzzle. This includes subscription invoices, transaction invoices, etc. The status of invoices in Puzzle will also update as the status is changed in Stripe.
Subscriptions: This will populate the ARR/MRR and Revenue tabs
Q: If I update a categorization in Ramp or Brex will the category be updated in Puzzle?
A: No, Puzzle only syncs categories from Ramp and Brex once, if you need to update a categorization you will need to update it in both the integration (like Ramp) and in Puzzle.
Q: Do you integrate with ShipBob?
No, we don't integrate with ShipBob at this time. Inventory adjustments can be made through manual journal entries.
