Ramp troubleshooting

Fixes for common Ramp issues: a card missing from Reconciliations, bills not syncing, Ramp cash accounts, and transactions that haven't arrived yet.

For how the integration works, see Syncing Ramp with Puzzle.

A Ramp card is missing from Reconciliations

Ramp cards can be reconciled. The Reconciliations page lists bank, credit card and investment accounts, including Ramp cards.

If a Ramp card isn't listed, it's usually because of how the card was mapped when Ramp was connected. Contact support with the card's name and last 4 digits and we'll check the mapping.

Ramp bills aren't syncing

Bills only sync from Ramp when the bills option is turned on for your Ramp integration. If it's off, card transactions still sync but bills don't. Check the option on the Integrations page.

My Ramp cash account isn't in Puzzle

Ramp cash accounts aren't supported. Puzzle syncs Ramp card transactions and, with the bills option on, Ramp bills.

To track a Ramp cash account, add it as a manual account and import its transactions by CSV. See Adding a Non-Connected Bank Account in Puzzle.

Recent Ramp transactions haven't arrived

Puzzle syncs Ramp once a day. To pull them in now, go to Integrations and click Sync all. There's no separate "Sync Ramp" button.

You don't need to mark transactions as "Ready to sync" in Ramp for them to come over. The regular sync pulls all card transactions in the date range, whatever their status. "Ready to sync" only matters if you use 2-way sync.

I changed a category in Ramp and Puzzle didn't update

Puzzle only syncs categories from Ramp once. After that, update the category in both Ramp and Puzzle.
