How to Add a New Account to an Existing Bank Integration

Opened a new account at a bank you’ve already connected to Puzzle? Here’s how to add it without reconnecting or losing any of your existing data.

If you've added a new account inside your bank (for example, a new checking account under an existing login) and it isn't showing up in Puzzle, you don't need to reconnect the entire integration. You can add the new account directly through the Integrations page.

If you’ve opened a new account at a bank that’s already connected to Puzzle, such as a new checking or savings account under the same bank login, you don’t need to disconnect and reconnect. You can add the new account to your existing connection in a few clicks.

How to add the new account

  1. In Puzzle, go to the Integrations page.

  2. Find the bank where you opened the new account, and click any account already connected from that bank.

  3. Click View Connection.

  4. Click Add Accounts.

  5. Follow the prompts from your bank, and select the new account when you’re asked which accounts to share with Puzzle.

Once it’s added, the new account will appear on your Integrations page and its transactions will start syncing into Puzzle.

Don’t see the new account?

If the new account doesn’t appear when you click Add Accounts, your bank may not have shared it with Puzzle yet. Try this first:

  1. Go to the Integrations page.

  2. Click the bank connection.

  3. Select Re-sync.

  4. Once the sync finishes, try Add Accounts again.

New accounts can take a day or two to become available through some banks, so if it still doesn’t appear, try again the next day.
