This is where Puzzle's Invoicing steps in to save the day.
Puzzle's Invoicing is like your personal assistant for revenue—helping you create, manage, and track invoices all in one place. Instead of juggling multiple platforms or spreadsheets, you can enter invoices directly into Puzzle, and if you're using Stripe, our native integration automates the entire process. It's all organized, easily accessible, and designed to streamline your billing workflow.

Seamless Integration with Stripe: If you're using Stripe as your payment processor, our native integration syncs invoices and automates accrual revenue recognition. That means less manual data entry and more time focusing on your business.

How Does It Work?
Entering Invoices
Direct Entry: Navigate to the "Invoices" tab in the "Accounting" section and click on "+ Invoice". Fill in the details like customer name, invoice amount, due date, and any notes. Save it, and you're good to go.
Stripe Integration: Using Stripe? Our integration pulls in your invoices automatically, syncing statuses and payment updates in real-time.
Managing Payments
Marking Transactions as Invoice Payments: On the "Transactions" page, find the payment transaction, open its details, and check the "Invoice Payment" box. This applies the payment to reduce Accounts Receivable instead of recording it as new revenue.
Automatic Linking with Stripe: Payments received through Stripe invoices are linked automatically, and the invoice status updates without you lifting a finger.
Handling Invoices
Voiding Invoices: Need to void an invoice? Click on the three dots (⋮) next to the invoice in the "Invoices" tab and select "Void". This keeps your records clean while maintaining an audit trail.
Deleting Invoices: Invoices in Puzzle cannot be deleted—only voided. This ensures a complete history of all your invoicing activities.
Customer Management
Adding Customers: You can add customers directly in the "Customer" field when creating an invoice or categorizing a transaction. If it's a new customer, just type in the name, and they'll be added to your list.
Viewing Customer Information: Head over to the "Revenue" page to see your customer list and all their corresponding transactions. It's all organized for easy access and review.
