To continue syncing your payroll data with Puzzle and prevent disruptions, you’ll need to either:
Option 1: Automated Integration via Rippling App Store
If you prefer to maintain automatic payroll syncing, you’ll need to reconnect your integration through Rippling’s new app store.
After a one time set-up, your automated, real-time payroll data sync will continue with no further action needed on your part.

Please note that this comes at a $2 per employee/contractor per month, which is a fee set by Rippling for API access. Puzzle receives no part of this fee.
To use this integration, you need to have an existing paid Puzzle plan, and this fee will be added to your subscription price as an add-on.

Option 2: Manual Payroll Entry
If you prefer not to pay the additional fee, you can manually enter payroll data into Puzzle.

To enter payroll manually in Puzzle, you can either:

Why do I need to transition my Rippling integration?

Why does Rippling’s new automated integration come at an extra cost?
Rippling has implemented a $2/month per employee/contractor fee for API access. To continue providing integration service to Rippling, Puzzle must pass the fee through to users of the new integration.
This fee is a direct pass-through from Rippling and Puzzle receives no part of the fee.
How is the automated integration fee billed?
This fee will be an add-on to your Puzzle invoice at $2/month per contractor or employee on your Rippling account.

How long does manual payroll entry take?

Is manual payroll entry complicated?
No. Manual payroll entry works by the same straightforward processes you expect from Puzzle. Most of our customers who have switched find it very simple.
When do I need to switch my payroll entry method by?
All customers using the current Rippling integration should switch their payroll entry method before February 28th, 2025.
What happens if I don’t switch my payroll entry method?
Rippling is discontinuing service to their current integration on February 28th, 2025. After this date, the integration will stop working and your Rippling data will not be automatically pulled into Puzzle.
Without switching payroll entry methods, your payroll data will not be ingested into Puzzle.
